SGM37892是一款单路LED闪光灯驱动器，其内部包括一个最大输出可达720mA（SGM37892A支持到1240mA）的受控恒流源和必要的保护及控制电路。SGM37892基于NMOSFET电流控制结构，配合新型的低正向压降LED，在锂充电电池的平台电压范围内可不必配套升压电路维持恒流，这在减少系统成本的同时避免了开关电磁干扰。其内部恒流源结构允许LED负极接地，有利于散热。
SGM37892根据输入脉冲个数设置输出电流。闪光灯模式通过闪光灯超时保护计时器（650ms，典型值）限制最大连续输出时间，进而防止LED灯珠过热。此过程中若ON引脚出现低脉冲（50μs，典型值）则重置芯片内部计时器。电源电压低于3.25V或芯片温度高于165℃时，SGM37892自动按比例降低驱动电流直到电源电压稳定或片芯温度回落。
SGM37892采用UTDFN-1.5×2-6L和TSOT-23-6绿色封装，额定工作温度范围为-40℃至+85℃。
