The SGM3843 is a PMIC (Power Management IC) designed for powering AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic LED) displays which require VELVDD, VELVSS, VAVDD, VDVDD and VVGL.
The device integrates two Boost converters VO1 for VELVDD and VO3 for VAVDD, one dual-phase inverting Buck-Boost converter VO2 for VELVSS, one single-phase inverting Buck-Boost converter VO5 for VVGL, and one Buck converter VO4 for VDVDD. It also integrates one negative low dropout linear regulator (LDO) VO5_LDO for VVGL_LDO.
The DVDD, VGL and VGL_LDO are used for powering the DDIC (Display-Driver IC).
All output voltages of these converters can be programmed in digital steps through the I2C interface.
The SGM3843 is available in a Green WLCSP-3.3×3.3-64B package.
