SGMICRO accepts orders for customer products for up to 6 months from the date of the termination notice and allows for an extension of the lead time for any ordered product for an additional 6 months unless specifically authorized by the Product Line Manager.
With respect to notices of termination for Automotive Components products, SGMICRO accepts orders for Customer Products for up to 12 months from the date of the notice of termination and is permitted to extend the lead time for any Ordered Products for an additional 12 months, unless specifically authorized by the Product Line Manager.
In rare cases, an accelerated schedule may be established for product termination. In such cases, we will communicate the deadline purchase and final delivery date to the affected customer.
Product termination notifications include:
EOL number
Detailed description
Last order date (no more than 6 months after notification)
Final delivery date (up to 6 months after the end of the ordering cycle)
Product scope (affected products)
Description of alternative products (if applicable)
