SGMICRO complies with the timely notification requirements of J-STD-046. In accordance with this industry standard, we inform our customers of significant changes that affect form, fit, function, or adversely affect product quality or reliability.
SGMICRO will provide the following information at least 90 days prior to the implementation of any major product change:
- Reason for change
- Detailed description
- PCN number
- Product scope (affected products)
- Anticipated (favorable/unfavorable) impact on appearance, dimensions, functionality, quality & reliability
- Examination program and/or results (where applicable)
- Date samples were provided
- Estimated date of production shipment
- SGMICRO Contact Window Information
SGMICRO reserves the right to make changes without prior notice if appearance, dimensions, function, quality and reliability are not affected. Each PCN contains an acknowledgement of receipt by the customer and other special notes. Customers are requested to acknowledge receipt of the PCN within 30 days of receipt, after which the changes to the PCN will be deemed accepted!
