Product Shelf Life
Assume a good integrity of the moisture-barrier bag sealing condition, the shelf life will be 3 years for moisture sensitive products which are graded as 3 or 2 in their Moisture Sensitivity Levels (MSL). When the MSL3 or MSL2 products are reaching 3 years' shelf life, the labeling information will be re-validated based on examinations to the sealing status of their air-tight packing and moisture-absorbing bag replacement processes.
Most of the SGMICRO products are categorized into MSL1. No shelf life limit is defined to the MSL1 products.
The shelf life is calculated from the product manufacturing date which is shown on label.
The shelf life depends on factors such as materials used in devices, manufacturing standards, packaging conditions, for more information, please refer to FAQ.
